6061 aluminum is the most versatile 6000 series alloy. It is heat treatable, easily formed, corrosion resistant, and strong. After anodizing it has an excellent finish. Pipes can be cold drawn or made through hot extrusion and whole punching seamless processing. It is found in micro-motors, irrigation, construction, and furniture.
